Press Release:Indy Premier Soccer Club and Vigo County Youth Soccer Association Announce Partnership
April 18, 2019 - Indy Premier Soccer Club and Vigo County Youth Soccer Association are proud to announce their partnership to improve the soccer experience for club members and provide the best youth development initiatives available. This collaboration between the clubs’ travel programs will provide expanded opportunities to individual travel players starting at U9 along with strengthening the competitiveness at the team level.
As of June 2019, Terre Haute Flyers will become Terre Haute Premier. Both Indy Premier and Terre Haute Premier will maintain their own separate tryouts and team selection. However, all players will have the opportunity to earn additional training, as well as games through placement on an additional team(s) with players of similar ability level that will compete separately in select competitions, league and/or tournament events.
The partnership will immediately leverage its combined strengths across resources, facilities, educational programming and award winning tournaments. Additionally, it will allow for access to each club’s coaching personnel, consisting of many of the most proven, experienced and highest licensed coaches in the state. The relationship is a natural fit, highlighting each club’s progressive approach to player development and strong commitment to providing the best experience possible for their membership. Each entity will operate independently with their own board of directors and leadership hierarchy but will benefit from a shared vision resulting in reciprocal consultation between clubs.
Both clubs are extremely excited about this venture and look forward to many years of working towards the benefit of all young players in the state.
