Valerie and Pete Robel were excited to welcome their second child, Magnolia, into the world. 
But when doctors heard a murmur and discovered that the infant had heart defects, their time of celebration quickly turned scary.
At 5 days old, Magnolia had open heart surgery. A month later, she had a surgery to install a pacemaker.
