As the spring starts to warm up you will definitely notice the new awnings over the bleachers on all fields. This will not only protect you from the sun but also from the foul balls that we have come accustom to ducking. This is a great improvement to our fields and we all look forward to the added shade.

You may also notice that Fields 1 & 2 have been given a new look with taller backstops. The undersized backstops date back to early days of the city center park and had served us very well. We will definitely appreciate the taller backstops to reduce the frequency of foul balls.

Field #5 has a new crows nest which was completed this fall.

We also did a complete re-build of the pitching mound and batter's box on Field 1. We are looking at doing to all fields but did this as a trial to see if the improvement is worthwhile. It is a very expensive process so we want to make sure it is worth it.

We strive to always look to improve the fields.
